Can you listen to books on the kindle 2?
I have the kindle 2 and I was wondering why it has a speaker on the back, but no sound comes out? and I was going to buy some earphones, but I don’t know if it will work. do I have to buy special books like audio books? or can I buy the headphones and listen to regular books? And if I’m buying headphones for it which ones would be best?
10000 hugs to the person who can answer all my random collage of questions about the kindle 2.
PLEASE AND THANK YOU! <3
Kindles can read Audible audio books (which you must pay for).
Additionally, Kindle has a feature called text to speech, where it will read your books for free to you in a choppy electronic voice (you can enable this by pressing the Aa button on your kindle and moving down to text to speech). However, some publishers have disabled text to speech on their books as it prevents people from paying more money for the audio books.
Headphones are not necessary. As you’ve noticed, there is a speaker on the back of the Kindle that will project the sound. However, if headphones are more convenient, any headphones will do. I normally use the headphones that came with my IPod and they work just fine.

AN ACCOUNT OF SALEM WITCHCRAFT VOLUMES I AND II on CD This work was originally constructed, and in previous editions appeared, in the form of Lectures. The only vestiges of that form, in its present shape, are certain modes of expression. The language retains the character of an address by a speaker to his hearers; being more familiar, direct, and personal than is ordinarily employed in the relations of an author to a reader. The “Lectures on Witchcr… |
